B. Clark, in the chair. It was Opened with a prayer by R. W. Andrews. Miss Castle led in the sing ing of that grand old Hymn, Head of the Church Triumphant, hal lowed by sweet associations with the first band of missionaries that landed on these shores. The minutes of the last meeting of the Society were adopted. Business items in the minutes of the Board of Managers were taken up in order, discussed and adopted, Rev. 0. H. Gulick making quite a detailed explanation regarding the Pleasant Island Mission and its need of a printing-press outfit.
