Windoku has extra four (3x3) blocks (shaded) where the numbers 1 to 9 can fit in without repetition, so in total there are the 9 traditional 3x3 blocks and the extra shaded blocks. Girandola Sudoku has the same rules as classic Sudoku plus an additional rule where the scatted shaded cells must contain the numbers 1 to 9 with no repetition in those shaded cells. Argyle Sudoku has the same rules as classic Sudoku and the extra rule of no number is repeated in any of the diagonal lines shown.
