Camfranglais fictional works are not canonical texts; rather they find a niche in the corpus of peripheral ethnographic texts that require an interpretive approach to translational practice. Translators of Camfranglais literature cannot but be like the texts they translate - at once multilingual and multicultural. Given the Polytonal and multilingual composition of Camfranglais literary texts, the onus rests with translators charged with the onerous task of bridging communicative gaps to conceive models that are germane to the translation of these multi-coded texts.
