Vegas' intelligence, wit, and skill are all put to the test when a powerful interstellar being known only as The Chosen One of Legend shows up and warns of a legendary evil that is resurrecting itself using the super massive black hole of the Milky Way. The Chosen One is held fighting battles elsewhere and is forced to give Vegas the task of traveling to the great red spot of Jupiter where there is a mysterious, but great power hidden in a scarlet temple at the planets surface. Even though he has no powers of his own it falls on Vegas Baby's shoulders to devise a way to do the impossible and travel into the gas giant without being crushed, defeat any challenges in the temple to not only save Earth, but the entire universe.
