Book excerpt: Excerpt from Minutes and Reports, With the Statistics, Worcester, May 17-19, 1943 A Nominating Committee composed of nine members, consisting of the retiring Moderator of each annual meeting, together with eight other members, of whom at least two shall be ministers, at least two shall be women and at least two shall be laymen. Each year the Board of Trustees, meeting in executive session, shall select four persons whom they shall nominate at the annual meeting of the Conference to be elected to serve for two years.
