Before he can leave, though, Josh Appleseed – a young ex-slave – arrives on a stolen horse seeking sanctuary. They ride West together. The unscrupulous owner of his farm sends his gunslingers in pursuit which leads to a showdown in which one of the gunslingers and a tracker-dog are killed. As they continue on, Jude and Josh fall in with Brod Nolan and his gang. Nolan claims to rob the rich to feed the poor, but with Nolan there is more than meets the eye, and the two friends find themselves embroiled in a series of bloodcurdling encounters in which they must kill or be killed. Will they emerge unscathed?
