Book excerpt: "Terror Keep" is a 1927 novel by English writer Edgar Wallace. A gripping page-turner, this novel is not to be missed by fans and collectors of detective fiction. Richard Horatio Edgar Wallace (1 April 1875 - 10 February 1932) was an English writer and journalist. He was a prolific writer, producing in his lifetime screen plays, historical non-fiction, poetry, 18 stage plays, over 170 novels, and 957 short stories. He is most famous for being the creator of King Kong, and for his "The Green Archer" serial. Other notable works by this author include: "Kate Plus Ten" (1919), "The Crimson Circle" (1922) and "The Valley of Ghosts" (1922). Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly scarce and expensive. It is with this in mind that we are republishing this volume now in an affordable, modern, high-quality edition complete with a specially commissioned new biography of the author.
