I decided to write stories, creating scenes that will nurture creativity through fantasy. All the characters are fictitious, the towns and villages are imaginary, but may have characteristics of actual villages and towns. The book has 6 chapters of different short stories designed to allow children to ask questions about some cultures that they may have no idea about but which they can relate to. It’s aimed to stimulate children’s thinking and for them to be able to differentiate from fiction to real life. Scenes created maybe outside some children’s environment, but this allows them to appreciate the different environments that may exist in other parts of the world. The stories are aimed to stimulate children’s imagination and also contribute character building. Each of the story lines has got unique morals relevant to character building. It’s also expresses the way of life of some people. More importantly, it’s the identification of the positive moral of the stories that are relevant for children to emulate. For example the story about how the tortoise won the race. It’s shows that with determination, one can succeed. Like the tortoise, he won the race being tactical and serious.
