He was “cut off from God and true spirituality,” nevertheless his life vigor was strong, living for 930 years before physical death overtook him. He lost eternal life for himself and offspring. (Gen. 3:17, 22-23; 5:5) The apostle John, quotes Jesus Christ as saying: “God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in him, will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) And Jesus Christ said: “This is eternal life, their knowing you, the only true God and the one whom you have sent, Jesus Christ.” (John 17:3)
