The research focuses on psychological and sociocultural adjustment experiences of Chinese students at a German university, i.e. Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, and their situation after graduation. It reports quantitative and qualitative data and discusses practical implications of the findings. The study provides a starting point for all concerned to review and develop procedures and services which affect the experiences of Chinese students as well as other international students in Germany.
