Book excerpt: Excerpt from Wildfire of Tobacco in Connecticut In the disease survey considerable data were obtained, much of which, however, was merely an extension of the knowledge of diseases and injuries that had been previously studied more or less intensively by the Station botanist. It is hoped to present 'this and further data in future bulletins from this department. One of the striking features of the survey was the discovery of a tobacco disease, new to the state, which has now proved to be quite serious under certain conditions.
