Petynia and published by . This book was released on 1957 with total page 58 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An investigation has been conducted to determine the aerodynamic and hydrodynamic characteristics of a supersonic multi-jet water-based bomber. The aircraft utilized a retractable hydro-ski, tiltable engine-wing arrangement, high fineness ratio, low frontal area, and supersonic area treatment. The wind had an unswept 80-percent-chord line, an aspect ratio of 3.5, a taper ratio of 0.067, and 3-percent-thick airfoil sections. The Mach number range of the aerodynamic tests was 0.6 to 1.97.
