When David's father learns what his son has done, he's furious and uses his powers to look into Isis, where he discovers she's not human at all, but Creatura in human form, on the onset of transformation. Because David presented Isis with the Star Crest, he will become Creatura, too. Another problem arises when Gabriel, Isis' jealous ex-boyfriend, and David cross paths. Each boy is determined to win Isis' heart. A sacrifice for love, a shocking discovery, and a jealous ex-boyfriend blur the lines between reality and dreams, making it hard to tell who the real monsters are.
