Book excerpt: The Military Manpower Training Report (MMTR) of the Secretary of Defense is submitted to the Congress in accordance with Section 138(d)(2) of Title 10, United States Code. The Secretary of Defense is required to submit to Congress a written report each fiscal year recommending student loads for each category of individual institutional training for each active and reserve component of the armed forces as justification for, and explanation of, the recommended student load. The FY 1993 Military Manpower Training Report specifically supports the Department of Defense request for authorization of military student training load for each component, active and reserve, of each Service for Fiscal Years 1992 and 1993.
