Los últimos cinco capítulos ofrecen y explican los documentos españoles, depositados en el Archivo General de la Administración en Alcalá de Henares, que testimonian cómo el gobierno franquista siempre consideró a Hemingway un escritor comunista y, por tanto, peligroso y objeto de censura.
