There is also the possibility of a social connection with the early developmental environment that the patient has grown up in. The third theory focuses on the psychological and coping mechanisms created that may result in Histrionic Personality Disorder. Normally the disorder has an early adult onset and is not seen until the person reaches their late teens or early twenties.
