Book excerpt: Pastor McConchie believes that when individuals begin to seek God, He very often sets up an appointment whereby a servant of God is sent to meet with that person.. In this writing Pastor McConchie comments in detail concerning three stories which are presented in the book of Acts. Philip is sent to a high ranking Ethiopian official. Peter is sent to a Roman Centurion and Paul is sent to a woman from Thyatira whose name is Lydia. The Ethiopian, the Centurion and the business woman all have one thing in common. They are all seeking to worship God before God's servant arrives on the scene. Pastor McConchie also shares with us some of his own experiences in Belarus in which he has had a very strong sense that the Lord has set up an appointment for him with someone who is ready to know more about Him. In the last section of the book Pastor McConchie looks to the future with a brief study of the book of Revelation. What about the 144,000 people of Israel who have come to know Christ, how does that happen?
