Explanations of useful expressions, vocabulary and grammar are followed by relevant background information about life in England. This is in the form of simple texts which provide reading material. There are exercises which practice and develop the main structures and grammar points and a short writing task at the end of each chapter. Students can check their answers by referring to the key in the reference section. This also contains a guide to pronunciation and a summary of the grammar introduced throughout the book. There are lists of useful words as well as a short bibliography. The course is accompanied by a cassette.
