As well as following the route of the old Waterford, Limerick & Western Railway main line, this packed volume also follows the Nenagh branch from Limerick city to Ballybrophy along with the short Killaloe branch on the shores of Lough Derg.We also traverse a section of the main Dublin-Cork line from Ballybrophy, through Thurles to Limerick Junction and the erstwhile Cashel branch line connected to it. The route from Thurles to Clonmel also features.The variety of locomotives, carriages and freight traffic of the period is all explored amongst the pleasant backdrop and timeless allure of this, Ireland's 'Premier County'.
