He did, and this was his answer - Now, John, I told you I would never have that disagreeable wretch in my house again. What was that? Spoke out Mr. Jones. Women are quick. She took in the situa tion in a second when she heard the strange voice, and quick as a flash came back the sweetest kind of a voice - Why, Mr. Jones, how do you do?
