Book excerpt: The focus of this resource is to help women discover and develop leadership skills for serving in ministry leadership and how women can capitalize on the unique strengths they have to offer. Women need to see that they are leaders, that they are called by God, and that they are gifted for ministry in the local church. While numerous leadership resources exist, including some specific to women in ministry, no current resources are available to encourage and empower women serving in leadership in complementarian churches. The purpose of this book is not to outline exactly which leadership titles a woman should hold but rather to equip and prepare women for whatever leadership opportunities in ministry they may encounter.
